Beliefs
We are Christians connected to the
Yes, we believe in the historic doctrines of the church. Methodists have been instrumental in establishing schools and hospitals, seeking to educate and care for others. We are neither conservative or liberal. We find ourselves moving toward the center, seeking to live out faith in the midst of life. We celebrate the central place grace plays in our heritage and our life today. So grace- God's unmerited, undeserved love for us- is at the center of all we are and do. Our United Methodist heritage may be ancient, but, it provides a balance in knowledge and action, love and service, grace and responsibility. The balance known as personal piety and social holiness means we're on a journey spiritually and we live what we believe in the world. Yes, we believe in the Trinity (God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit), the church as the hope of the world and a whole lot more. We are excited to be a community connected to the United Methodist Church.
Values
Love God, Grow as a Disciple, and Serve others.
Our worship is an expression of God's love. We're not concerned with the formalities of church. Worship is about responding to God at work among us. We'll share stories from the places we serve, we'll challenge your thinking, touch your heart, and empower you to be God's hands and feet in the world, inviting you back to experience it all again! Worship is an overflow of God's love for us and an expression of our love for God.
We serve in the city because we're restless. Restless for the love of God to transform lives. So we go. We serve. We serve together. We're following Jesus.
When Jesus sent the disciples out two by two, he recognized we accomplish more together. He also knew we need other people....and it's a heck of a lot more fun to be with others.
Grow through group life is a your place to be with others. It's place to study scripture, pray, share life's ups and downs. Group life is also a place to serve with others.
